The Ferrets are a weapon first appearing in the Battle Pack DLC of Worms 2: Armageddon.

Description

The Ferrets weapon is easy to use. The Ferrets remain in contact with the ground at all times. If they walk off a ledge, they will simply follow the terrain in stead of falling. They will explode as soon as they come into contact with a Worm or an Oil Barrel. The Ferrets appear in a group of three, and deal 10 points of damage each.

Once released, the Ferrets run along the surface, scaling walls and even running upside-down to reach their target. This works exceptionally well on vertical maps where your opponent has a height advantage.

The Ferrets will not explode if they run into the Worm who released them. If the Ferrets do not come into contact with anything after a certain amount of time, a timer appears above the third ferret. As soon as the timer reaches zero, the Ferrets will explode. The Ferrets will also be disabled if they go too deep into the water.
